Frequently asked questions
Where does the report data come from?
Your own jobs, invoices, payments, quotes, and inventory — live. Nothing to import or export. When you mark an invoice paid or close a job, every affected report updates instantly.
Can I change the time period?
Yes. Every analytical report has a timeframe selector — this week, month, quarter, year, or a custom from/to range. Charts, KPIs, and leaderboards all recalculate for the window you pick. Accounts Receivable stays live, always showing what's owed right now.
How is gross margin calculated?
From paid invoices: discounted ex-tax line revenue minus the cost price of each item sold. Enter a cost price on your services and inventory items and both the Revenue and Services & Inventory reports show real, discount-aware margin from one shared definition.
