Add photos and notes to a job

The Log tab on every job keeps a running record of notes, photos, videos, and status changes. It's useful for handoffs between team members and for keeping a record of the work done.

  1. Open the job's Log tab

    Open the job, then tap the Log tab. It shows a badge with the number of entries already logged.

  2. Write a note

    Tap the message field and type what you want to record.

  3. Set the note's category

    Choose Info, Important, or Critical so anything urgent stands out to the rest of your team.

  4. Attach a photo or video

    Tap the camera icon and choose Take Photo or Record Video to capture new media right there.

  5. Attach existing files

    Tap the paperclip icon and choose Gallery to pick a photo or video already on your device, or Files to attach a document. On web, this opens your file picker directly.

  6. Add a link (optional)

    Tap the link icon to attach a URL. This is handy for pointing to a manual, spec sheet, or other reference.

  7. Send the entry

    Tap the send icon to add your note and any attachments to the job's log.

  8. Tips

    Uploading photos, videos, and files requires a paid plan. If you're on a free plan, you'll see a prompt to upgrade instead of the upload completing.
