Track a job from open to closed
Every job carries a status so your team can see where it stands at a glance. Servicebay ships with four default statuses: Open, In Progress, Completed, and Closed. An admin can customize the list for your account.
Open the job
From the Jobs tab or the calendar, tap the job you want to update to open its profile.
Go to the Information tab
Make sure you're on the Information tab, then find the Assignment card.
Change the status
Under Status, tap the dropdown and choose the new status for the job.
Log the change
Servicebay opens an Add Message dialog so the change is recorded. Optionally add a note in the message field and set its category to Information, Important, or Critical.
Save the update
Tap Save to confirm. The job list and calendar reflect the new status right away, and the change appears in the job's Log tab along with who made it and when.
Filter jobs by status
On the Jobs tab, use the Status filter to see jobs at a particular stage, and turn on Show Closed if you need to find a job that's already been marked Closed.
