Share a quote or invoice securely

Servicebay shares quotes and invoices through a secure, expiring link sent by email. There's no separate "copy link" button, so emailing is how the link gets created and delivered.

  1. Open the quote or invoice

Go to the Quotes or Invoices tab and open the document you want to send.

  2. Open the email dialog

Tap Email Quote (or Email Invoice). This generates a secure, one-time link for that document.

  3. Fill in the customer's details

Enter the Customer Email and, if you'd like, add a short Message. Turn on Enable Reply-To if you want the customer's replies to land in a specific inbox.

  4. Send it

Tap Send. You'll see "Email sent successfully" once it's gone out. If the address is wrong, you'll get "Please check the email address and try again."

  5. Know what the customer sees

The customer opens a secure, view-only page (no login required) titled View Quote or View Invoice. For quotes, they can tap Accept Quote and confirm to accept it. For invoices with online payments enabled and a balance owed, they'll see a Pay Now button that opens Stripe Checkout.

  6. Know when the link expires

Quote links expire on the quote's own expiration date (or one year out if the quote never expires). Invoice links are always valid for one year. After expiry, the customer sees "The document is not valid or has expired."

  7. Tips

If you delete the quote or invoice from Servicebay, its share link stops working immediately, even if it hasn't expired yet.
